Charity Chop

SunRidge Canyon Golf Club will graciously donate the golf course to charity as part of second-annual golf event called the SunRidge Canyon Charity Chop – this year to be held on December 9, 2013. In all, 30 foursomes will be given to local Fountain Hills/Scottsdale-area charities to be used for their fundraising efforts. The foursomes, 120 players, will then be invited to “chop it around” at the golf event.

“Cindy [Misheff] and I had a great time hosting the Charity Chop last year,” said Don Misheff, proprietor of SunRidge Canyon Golf Club. “We’ve always considered the club as more of an extension of our home – reflecting our personalities and passions. Giving back to the community happens to be one of those passions. We look forward to the second-annual event.”

The casual event will include 18 holes of golf, tee gifts, on-course contests for prizes, lunch and after-golf reception. All Fountain Hills/Scottsdale-area charities are welcome to apply for one of the 30 foursomes by filling out the application form below. To maintain a local focus, special consideration will be given to northeast Valley charities.

“We couldn’t be more pleased with the way the first SunRidge Canyon Charity Chop went last year,” said Jeff Lessig, General Manager of SunRidge Canyon Golf Club. “We were able to raise $15,000 for the respective charities, and we provide a memorable experience for the participants.”
